“My Half-life as an Irishman” is the title of this collection of Irish songs and Dan Fishwick’s own story(s) that might tie all the blarney together. Dan was a teacher at University School for thirty years, all the while clandestinely building musical instruments and playing a frequent gig of Irish music. He will bring along a bag of his axes—guitar, banjo, fiddle, and, if it’s finished by then, an Irish bouzouki—and, of course, songs and Irish tunes, some familiar, some new, all fun. And just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.
