Sunday, June 19, 4:00 pm – Cleveland Classical Guitar Society, Composers-in-Residence World Premiere In 2021, CCGS commissioned Composers-in-Residence Thomas Flippen and Hermelindo Ruiz to compose a set of pieces for their students. Each of them decided to write pieces that honored their cultural background, filling a need for more diverse repertoire for the classical guitar. This live performance of the new pieces features CCGS students and each composer as performers.
